Baking Queen: I heard you’re an actress too. How was your show on Friday?
Jessica: Alpha teen and recreation program did a play performance and we practiced for 6 weeks and we worked hard. We performed all our hard work at Santa Barbara High School in front of people and I thought that I was better than last year because I was a lot louder. I felt proud of myself because I also practiced with my friends during the week. Because I did that I knew all my lines and I did not mess up once, but when I was on stage and I saw all the people watching I put my hands over my face because I
felt nervous and a little scared because I felt that I forgot my lines but I was wrong. I actually knew my lines and I got a boost of energy and I had lots of fun and I even got people laughing. When we were done I was proud of myself and my friends for a job well done. My friends Dave Samson, my boyfriend, and Ben Shepard came over to my place or my boyfriend’s place to practice all our lines and when we were on stage we pulled through and we did a great job and we got a lot of great comments on our show and how we did.
Katie’s FUNd participants will also be performing in this year’s production of Hootenanny on Oct 6 so mark your calendars!
