Hope everybody had a nice time at the Alpha BBQ and that you liked our band performance. We had a good performance. We did Cars “Just What I Needed”, Crowded House “Don’t Dream”, and “It’s My Life” by my favorite group – Bon Jovi. Kevin did a great job on “Amarillo By Morning”. That was the first time we performed that song. We feel good that we’re out there performing for everybody and seeing how the people like it when...

Camping and Canoeing at Lake Cachuma

Posted by on May 1, 2017 in Actor, Blog, Paul | 0 comments

Hey everybody! Last month I went with a bunch of friends up to Lake Cachuma for 2 days of camping. We had a nice time up at Cachuma Lake! Myself and some of my friends were in a group called the Squirrely Squirrels. We sat around the campfire singing songs and having s’mores. My friends and I helped set up our tent, cooked dinner one night, and learned some camping skills. We also went canoeing on the lake and then we went to a museum-type...

Rockability was a Hit!

Rockability was a hit at Soho for the Best Buddies fundraiser! We did a lot of songs including Knocking on Heaven’s Door, Faith, 500 Miles, and many more. When it was all over, I was tired!! Everybody made it; there was a great crowd! Being on stage is fun. It’s great performing for everybody! It makes me happy to let everyone know what song is coming next. George Michael’s “Faith” is my favorite song to perform. Next week we’ll be...

We had a nice Christmas party last Friday with Gavin, Santa and the Berns family.  It was fun watching everyone sing their favorite Christmas songs, even “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas”!  I had fun doing “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”.  The lobby looked really decorated! We had a nice time, but I lost my moose! That’s what Santa gave me. I had it in my bag to go home, but when I showed it to my roommate, she looked in the...

Another Successful Show!

On Sept 24 we did our play “Unlikely Heroes”.  I was a knight and king. My buddy Miller was a prince and my roommate Michelle was a princess.  My funny part was our “Men Who Won’t Wear Tights” song.  When Michelle and I gave our director Buffy the flowers, I promised her this year that it wasn’t another proposal; it was just a thank you for all the hard work she put in.  The scene I liked was “Now a Word from our Sponsor”....

Showtime is Around the Corner

Posted by on Aug 17, 2016 in Actor, Blog, Paul | 0 comments

Hello everybody! Show time is just around the corner, coming up fast! We’re busy working on our lines and figuring out our costumes. Sometimes we forget our lines, but the show must go on! We still have about a month to practice. The show is Sept 24, which is a Saturday, at the Marjorie Luke Theater at 2:00. This year the show is called Unlikely Heroes – it’s a melodrama/silent movie show. I’m enjoying the part where we don’t talk, but...
