Michelle Oliner has a remarkable ability for drawing something quite ordinary, such as a circle, a square, or a very simple shape, and turning it into something extraordinary.  The shapes are always familiar, yet no two are alike.

Michelle is one of Alpha’s newer artists, yet she has settled into Art Studio and is content.  She is a vivacious, helpful and outgoing person and her cheerful personality is evident in all of her art work; colorful, bold and playful paradox of seemingly simple shapes, yet quite complex in its presentation.
