This position is central to encouraging and supporting people with developmental delay or diagnosed with a disability (ID/DD) to lead self-directed lives and to participate fully in their community. Implement and augment person-centered plans toward a life of opportunity, well-being, freedom and contribution. Assist people in attaining their goals and making everyday choices around community access and inclusion, personal finances, physical well-being, relationships, employment, and recreation. Position offers opportunities to share personal talents. Requires creativity, excellent communication and a sincere commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities. The employee must display professional integrity and encourage and contribute to the mission of Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara (Alpha) through empowering individuals, supporting families and building community.
Full-time, Exempt
Pay Rate: $62,400.00/yr.
The position is responsible for organizing and implementing activities at the Family Resource Center, providing resources, intake services, and information to families and individuals with developmental disabilities. Key qualifications include organizational skills, and proficiency in communication and advocacy. The employee will assist in maintaining organized documentation and records, as well as facilitating family engagement through education and support activities. They will also collaborate with early intervention providers and community partners to promote inclusion and engagement. Additionally, the role involves coordinating community outreach efforts and promoting the organization's goals and philosophy through training, collaboration with outside agencies, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The Office Manager plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the office environment while providing essential administrative support to various departments within the organization. With a focus on supporting the Executive Director, Human Resources, Fiscal Department, and managing event rental space, this role includes a wide range of responsibilities aimed at maximizing efficiency and productivity.

The Katie's Fund DSP is responsible for assisting with the implementation of planned activities on the day of the event, assisting in the duties to successfully run the events, and maintaining awareness and implementation of individuals needs and restrictions under the direction of the program manager. The Katie's Fund DSP will promote a positive and respectful environment for participants, fellow employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to practice Behavior Management skills as described during training.

Pay: $17.00
This position places the needs of the team at his/her highest priority. This key position will primarily be responsible for coordinating workflow on the donation production line and providing materials and other services to the production line in a timely and efficient manner. In this role the successful candidate must be curious in nature, committed to process improvements, and able to carry out basic problem-solving methods.

Pay: $16.50 -$17.00/Hr.
The Custodial Worker is expected to be reliable and skilled enough to perform minor maintenance and custodial tasks throughout the facility. Responsibilities include a wide variety of activities from basic repairs of equipment and building systems, as well as ensuring all facilities are both clean and functional. Initiative and attention to detail are essential. Related work experience and solid technical knowledge is a plus.

Pay: $17.50/Hr.
This position is central to family support by providing personal care, community experience and teaching life skills to those with developmental delay or diagnosed with a disability. The employee must display professional integrity and encourage and contribute to the mission of Alpha to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by supporting families, creating opportunities, and fostering belonging, and must promote the Alpha Adult Services Vision Statement (available on website Mission page).

Pay: $18.00-$19.00Hr.
The incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Regular attendance, punctuality and diligent work performance are expected and required. Attendance at regular department and staff meetings is expected. The requirements listed in the PDF file below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Appropriate training will be provided where necessary, and specific assistance in refreshing the incumbent in those areas where appropriate.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00/Hr.
This job entails assisting with the opening and closing procedures of the Kellogg store, welcoming and thanking customers, providing courteous and prompt service, and identifying customers' needs. Additionally, responsibilities include assisting with merchandising and display, maintaining the store's presentation through cleaning and organizing, receiving and processing incoming donations, handling sales transactions, and adhering to store policies. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, as well as regular and punctual attendance, are also essential aspects of the role.
Pay: $16 - $17/Hr.
