The Development Manager is responsible for supporting fundraising initiatives and activities to help meet the revenue goals of the organization. These initiatives and activities include fundraising events, planned and annual giving campaigns, individual donor identification and cultivation, grant writing, foundation and corporate development as well as marketing. This position reports to the Director of Development and is part of a Development Team that includes the Executive Director, Director of Development, Director of Finance and board members.
The Assistant Case Manager is expected to have demonstrated competency in participant-centered individualized service planning, outcome driven curriculum, as well as demonstrated professional integrity and commitment to the philosophy of the program and mission of the organization (available at available at www.alphasb.org/mission).
Katie's FUNd Coordinator is expected to assume responsibility for content, continuity and effectiveness of overall Katie’s FUNd services (social/recreational opportunities for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities).
The Facilities Worker is expected to be reliable and skilled enough to perform essential custodial and basic maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Responsibilities include a wide variety of activities from ensuring all facilities are both clean and functional to some basic repairs of equipment and building systems. Initiative and attention to detail are essential. Related work experience and solid technical knowledge is a plus.
This position is central to family support by providing personal care, community experience and teaching life skills to those with developmental delay or diagnosed with a disability. The employee must display professional integrity and encourage and contribute to the mission of Alpha to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by supporting families, creating opportunities, and fostering belonging, and must promote the Alpha Adult Services Vision Statement (available at www.alphasb.org/mission).
