Alpha Thrift Store SCRIPT program

Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara provides grants of script that can be used to purchase merchandise at any of our Alpha Thrift Stores (for locations, visit our THRIFT STORES page). The program is intended to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Santa Barbara County who are in serious economic need.

Applicants must be able to independently utilize provided script or have access to support staff who can assist with transportation and/or the use of script. If assistance is needed, please supply the name, phone number, and email address of the relevant support staff in the application. 

Awards are grated by Alpha's Family Resource Center. Consideration of immediate economic need and alternative sources of assistance will be made when evaluating applications. Individuals may apply only once per 12 month period beginning on the date of any previously granted award. The decision of the Family Resource Center is final. Applicants who are denied should not submit another application for the same need and/or circumstance. Script not used by the expiration date will not be reissued.
